When the organizers of Hotspot (a working fair organized by my university) called me to give a guest lecture during their fair, I was both excited and terrified. Seeing their posters with my name all around the campus did not help.
However, once it came to the actual talk, it went much better than I expected. I finally start feeling comfortable with gamification as a topic, and with speaking in front of an audience. This goes so much outside my comfort zone that if I ever nail this, I will feel sooooo bloody accomplished.
