Today I started my first PhD course, called Journalism in the media society, organized by Gothenburg University.
Considering my background, I have very limited knowledge of journalism research…so I really look forward to this course. Also, it´ll give me a good reason to visit the lovely GBG!
The course has some stellar scholars: Mats Ekström (the organizer), Monika Djerf-Pierre, Monica Löfgren Nilsson, Henrik Örnebring (who is btw my co-advisor), Oscar Westlund, Neil Thurman, BengtJohansson, Jesper Strömbäck, Adam Shehata, Annika Bergström, Malin Svenningson, and Ingela Wadbring.
That and an impressive reading list points towards a great PhD course.
